Understanding Rosacea

Rosacea, a common inflammatory skin condition, mainly affects the central face and is prevalent in middle-aged women and people with lighter skin. It’s characterised by facial redness, sometimes accompanied by small, red, pus-filled bumps. The exact cause is unknown, but it’s believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Common triggers include temperature extremes, sunlight, hot baths, stress, certain foods and drinks, hormonal changes and some cosmetics.

Treatment options are diverse. The CLINICCARE Complexion Clearing Facial soothes and hydrates while stimulating skin rejuvenation. The Pure Chemical Peel targets acne and improves skin texture. Dr. Platon Cold Plasma Shower is a gentle, effective treatment for reducing inflammation. Lumixa Fluorescent Light Energy Treatment helps destress the skin and reduce inflammation. Cube Light LED Light Therapy, using yellow and red light, relieves rosacea symptoms and inflammation.

Home care complements clinical treatments. The CLINICCARE Pure range hydrates and soothes the skin. Cebelia Extreme Care provides immediate relief for flushed, red skin, while the Comfort Cream nourishes and protects against environmental stress. The Dermo Corrective Cream SPF50 offers sun protection and enhances skin tone. Regular use of these products supports long-term management of rosacea symptoms.
